Celebrating Shichi Go San at the age of 7 years old now …
this twin girls are already lovely enough, then, dressed in Kimonos? not fair.
This family made it more special. They made an arrangement with the famous Huntington Library to have the photo session on the grounds. I was blown away with this opportunity to photograph them not only at their Japanese Garden, but also at and in the Tea House. The girls paid attention and respected all these precious antiques around them and behaved really good on the tatami mats. . . .good job!
and their proud parents also dressed in the Kimonos. Let’s take this special opportunity to the maximum level! and these images will be cherished for generations and celebrate they are part of Japanese descendants.
Then, look back when they were 5 years old with the baby cheeks!
at the time, we did the photo session at their house.
I just loved the spontaneous and genuine smiles of the girls parents . . . I can totally relate.
Back to the Huntington Library. It was the middle of November and provided us the gorgeous autumn backgrounds.
Lastly, but importantly I got to capture this stunning mother in the kimono. Her husband adores her so much that we also created a museum quality canvas print of her alone.
till next time;)
