Isn’t it a perfect time to get together and celebrate a child’s happy growth, family’s well being, culture and life?

This lovey family made it happen in its ultimate way – all of them dressed up in traditional Japanese kimonos. How honorable I felt to capture them, and I knew these images would be treasured among family and passed on to future generations for sure! It was such a great opportunity.いぇs

His palm to his father’s palm aligned. Realize how big, thick, and warm his father’s hands were. Him being only 5 years old at this time, but hopefully these images will remind him the moments, experience, and love of his family in the future.

All these kimonos are provided and dressed by Kimono no Kobeya who has a large selection of kimonos from baby, children and adults!
