They had successfully finished all of their middle school curriculum presented by the Japanese Ministry of Education, here in LA.
I have photographed them since they were in a Japanese pre-school, and it was beyond my honor and pleasure to be able to photograph their graduation in their best attire – kimonos.
Congratulations.
Years of dedication and a tremendous amount of effort balancing their studies with that of local school and lots ofextracurricular activities. I know it was not easy – at all. They did not give up and have accomplished something very meaningful while developing the strong bond of the friendship. Not to mention there were lots of family’s support and love. Their smiles brighten my heart and soul. I hope all these images will remind them all of the hardworking and special memories. Thank you for letting me be there and photograph you all.

The brown Hakama with kimono belonged to his grand grand father, and his relative managed to ship the kimono to him. It is a Family celebration, in deed.

There pictures could be timeless, even though these were photographed under the super bright California Sunshine!
until next time 😉
